Good afternoon, The google form for voting is now available. The timeline for voting is till 9:00 PM IST today i.e. 22 Nov 2025 Self voting will not be counted and reterating again that "NO CANVASSING/LOBBYING IS ALLOWED Any evidence, if found, shall lead to disqualification"
Note: Regarding the self-voting process — contesting candidates may cast their votes for others, but not for themselves. You are also requested to submit the voting form only once and avoid duplicate submissions. Request all eligible members to kindly utilise their voting rights. Only members whose Membership IDs begin with “F” or “M” are eligible to vote. Associate Members and Student Members are not eligible.

The tenure of the present Governing Council (GC) will conclude on 31 December 2025. In accordance with the Society’s bye-laws, and as announced during the General Body Meeting held on 16 October 2025 (which includes the Electoral College), elections will be conducted to constitute the new Governing Council. The election process shall be carried out strictly as per Clause 13 of the Rules and Regulations of the Society. I have been appointed as the Returning Officer to oversee and conduct the election in a fair, transparent, and impartial manner. All members are requested to extend their cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the election process. The last date for submission of duly filled nomination forms is 04 November 2025 by 5:00 PM. Members are reminded that canvassing in any form, direct or indirect, is strictly prohibited. Your active participation in the election process will help strengthen our professional community and uphold the democratic spirit of the Society.

The tenure of the present Governing Council (GC) is ending on 31 Dec 2025. In accordance with the Society's bye-laws, as announced in the General Body Meeting held on 16 October 2025 (which includes the Electoral College), elections shall be held to elect a new Governing Council. The election process will follow strictly in accordance with clause 13 of the rules and regulations of the Society.

The Governing Council has appointed our esteemed Fellow, Prof. Visalakshi Talakokula as the Election Officer. She will conduct the elections in a fair and transparent manner.
